What is a 'flash' colour?
- This is an additional and useful colour that can be used (in addition to the background and main colour) when creating your painting. ARL ART, by using your flash colour as well, will be able to give greater depth to your painting providing additional colour matches for your room
Can I order a frame to go with my picture?
- Your painting comes ready to hang, all included in the price. We use deep edged linen canvases stretched over a wooden frame, so your painting is ready to hang. This reduces the need for framing, but it is possible to order a special tray frame specially cut for deep canvases. Please contact us for further details if you would like to order one
Do you continue to paint my picture round the edges too?
- Yes we do. All the colours, even the petals, are 'wrapped' around and continue on all painted sides of your canvas
How much do the paintings weigh?

Can I order a different sized canvas?
- Other sizes are available upon request. Please contact us for further details and we can discuss the possibilities
Will my painting fade in the sun light?
- No, we use genuine top quality Windsor and Newton oil paints on quality linen canvases
How can I be sure that the painting I order will match the exact colour of my decor?
- Not a problem! If it is important to have an exact hue match then it would be best to send us a sample of the colour you would like us to match to e.g. a magazine cutting, cloth sample, etc. so that we can find the exact colour for you. Please mention that you are sending this to us when ordering
How is the painting hung on the wall?
- Each painting is stretched and wrapped onto a wooden frame and ready to hang, which means no additional frame is required and you can hang it on the wall directly after taking it out of the box.
What are the wooden pegs attached to the back of my painting for?
- These should be knocked into the slots provided at each corner of the back of the canvas. These will provide extra stability and help make your painting taut.
Can I hang my Moodscape the other way up?
- Yes, of course. It could even be hung upside down if you prefer. If you would like us to paint it 'portrait' instead of 'landscape' then please let us know when you are ordering.
Will my personal details be shared with anybody?
- Your personal details are stored on a secure server; you can login to your online account and change your details at any time. We don't store or see any customer credit card details, everything is encrypted. Your personal details are taken via an industry standard secured shopping basket system. Are ARL ART paintings covered by copyright?
- All copyright, design rights and intellectual property rights existing in our designs and products and in the images, text and design of this website / marketing material are and will remain the property of ARL ART. Any infringement of these rights will be pursued vigorously
